Thousands of NATO troops launched at the end of May, the Noble Jump 2017 exercise in Romania, whose goal is to increase the reaction capacity of the North Atlantic Alliance in Romania and Bulgaria.

The training involves 4,000 soldiers from 11 member states. Half of them are Romanians, while most of the rest come from Albania, Germany, Great Britain, Norway, Holland, Poland and Spain. Technical equipment was transported on three routes: naval, rail and land, through a convoy that started the move from Greece.

Designed to test the elements of the intervention readiness plan, the initiative puts the task force on the joint task of the rapid intervention, shifting it to the designated operational zone. The idea is to see how capable the alliance countries are to activate the force of immediate reaction in one of its member states within a short period of time.

Admiral Michelle Hoard, US Force Commander, said: "This exercise is a logistical challenge that tests the ability of all participants to send a common combat force to the region. By doing so, NATO proved our determination and cooperation to ensure the collective defense of member countries. "

With this maneuver, NATO allies have proven, according to Reuters, that the alliance is able to provide a quick and strong response on the ground to any threatening situation for it.
