Trump under investigation?

The Washington Post reports that special prosecutor Robert Mueller is investigating President Donald Trump for obstructing justice.

Mueller is preparing to question this week three senior secret service officials, one of whom Dan Coats, the head of the NSA, will appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee. For CNN, this is the most significant signal so far that Mueller's investigation is going beyond questions about Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential election.

The news comes in the same week when Trump's friend and sponsor of the Trump campaign, Chris Ruddy, cited the possibility of the White House chief suspending the Special Prosecutor, who took over the reins of the investigation after being dismissed from the position of the FBI chief, James Comey.

Trump aides immediately condemned the Washington Post report, saying the FBI information flow to the President was unacceptable, unpardonable and illegal.

Since his on-going Comey suspension letter, Trump has always claimed that he is not under investigation.
